The birthday party for June birthdays was May 31st at Belle Aire Baptist. Kids Zone Play Systems sponsored the party and did an incredible job. Ben May volunteered and made baloon animals for all of the kids. The line never ended! One family in particular really impacted me. Living in a motel room with another family, this family is really hurting. Without transportation, it is so difficult to get out of the room to do anything. We were able to pick up the parents and kids and bring them to the Candle Wishes party. The kids were so excited to ride in the car and had a blast at the party. On the way back to the motel, the birthday girl told me that even though she wasn’t there long, she had so much fun. I had a great conversation with one of the little girls about her relationship with Christ and her involvment in a church van ministry. She has helped pick up kids for church and watched the ministry grow from the beginning. It is exciting and refreshing to hear a child be so passionate about the Lord. Can’t wait until next month!
